At AG Water Ltd, we love working with local farms to help them take care of and get the most from their farms.
Irrigation NZ News recently published an article on our client, Corrigan Sowman of Uruwhenua Farms.
Working with Corrigan is always a pleasure as he is innovative and advanced in his practices within the agricultural industry.

The article covers Corrigan’s story about his company’s early adoption of technology and the importance of sustainability. The Uruwhenua farm irrigation system brings water from the Takaka River, which supports the Cobb Generation and Storage Project operated by Trustpower. Corrigan uses automated systems and monitoring to ensure proper management of this powerful resource.
“Community perceptions around the sustainability of agriculture are pretty intense in this community. We’ve been very mindful of how we behave and how our actions might build peoples’ opinions of farm practice,” says Corrigan.
We’re proud to work with a technology pioneer like Corrigan and his team at Uruwhenua Farms!
